How does Resonant personalize affirmations?
Resonant learns from your interactions. When you save affirmations or mark them as "Hits Home," the app remembers your preferences and shows you more content that aligns with what speaks to you.
How do I change the visual theme?
Tap the paintbrush icon on the main screen to access theme selection.
What does "Hits Home" mean?
The home icon lets you mark affirmations that deeply resonate with you. This helps the app understand your preferences better than a simple save, bringing you more meaningful content over time.
Categories
What categories are available?
Resonant offers 8 categories: Anxiety & Calm, Self-Trust, Letting Go, Uncertainty, Boundaries, Patience, Resilience, and Grounding.
Why can I only see 3 categories?
Free users have access to 3 categories. Upgrade to Premium to unlock all 8 categories and the full library of affirmations.
Premium Subscription
What does Premium include?
- Access to all 8 affirmation categories
- Full library of affirmations
- All current and future content updates
How do I restore my purchase?
Go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
How do I cancel my subscription?
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Select Resonant
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
Notifications
How do I set up daily reminders?
Go to Settings → Reminders and toggle on daily notifications. You can customize the times you'd like to receive affirmations.
I'm not receiving notifications
- Check that notifications are enabled in Settings → Reminders
- Verify Resonant has notification permissions in iPhone Settings → Resonant → Notifications
- Ensure Do Not Disturb is not blocking notifications
Widgets
How do I add a widget to my home screen?
- Long-press on your home screen
- Tap the "+" button in the top corner
- Search for "Resonant"
- Choose your preferred widget size
- Tap "Add Widget"
Why isn't my widget updating?
Widgets update periodically based on iOS system schedules. Opening the main app will sync the latest affirmation to your widget.
Privacy & Data
What data does Resonant collect?
Resonant stores your preferences, saved affirmations, and interaction history locally on your device. This data is used solely to personalize your experience. We do not sell or share your personal data.
Can I sync my data across devices?
Yes! Enable iCloud sync in Settings to keep your saved affirmations and preferences synchronized across your Apple devices.
How do I delete my data?
Go to Settings → Reset to clear your local data and start fresh.
Troubleshooting
The app is running slowly or crashing
- Make sure you're running the latest version of Resonant
- Restart the app
- Restart your device
- If issues persist, try deleting and reinstalling the app
Affirmations aren't loading
Check your internet connection. While most features work offline, some functionality may require connectivity.
