2. Description of Service

Mealie AI is a meal planning and recipe management application that uses artificial intelligence to help users plan meals, manage recipes, create grocery lists, and organize their cooking activities.

3. User Accounts

To use our Service, you must:

• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Subscription and Payment

• Subscriptions are exclusively available through our iOS app
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Apple's App Store
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings
• Refunds are provided according to Apple's refund policy
• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with advance notice
• Payment processing is handled securely through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat
• We do not directly process or store your payment information

5. Refund Policy

• All subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store and are managed by Apple
• Refund requests must be submitted directly through your Apple ID account
• Refunds are evaluated by Apple according to their refund policy and may be granted for duplicate charges, accidental renewals, or other reasonable circumstances

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload to the Service, including recipes, meal plans, and lists. By using our Service, you grant us a license to:

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and share any content you upload.

We do not publicly share your personal or recipe data. All user content is stored privately and accessible only to your account unless you explicitly share it.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

8. AI-Generated Content

• We are not responsible for any adverse effects from following AI-generated recipes

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

We make no warranty regarding the availability or performance of third-party services integrated with Mealie AI (such as authentication or payment providers).

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEALIE AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account:

• If you violate these Terms of Service
• If we suspect fraudulent or illegal activity
• For any reason, with or without notice

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
